🌺Sweetheart, if trusting people feels impossible, I want you to hear me—you’re not broken. God did not create you to walk through life carrying fear and distrust.

Your childhood experiences may have taught you how to survive, but God is teaching you how to trust again.

Here’s why you might struggle with trust today:

💔 You learned early that people aren’t always reliable. Maybe your father left, or your mother was emotionally unavailable, so you adapted—by relying only on yourself. But God says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

💔 You fear being let down. When you’ve been disappointed too many times, keeping people at a distance feels safer than getting hurt again. But remember, God’s plans for you are good—plans to prosper you and not to harm you (Jeremiah 29:11).

💔 You overanalyze people’s intentions. You’re constantly questioning: Do they really care? Will they leave? Can I depend on them? But God reminds us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

💔 You struggle to be vulnerable. Letting your guard down feels dangerous because, in the past, your feelings weren’t always protected. But God is your refuge and your protector (Psalm 91:2). He sees your wounds, and He is restoring your heart.

Dove, trust is a journey, and it will take some time. Trust is vital in marriage. And while people may fail, God never will. Let Him show you what true security feels like. He is guiding you toward people who will love you the way He designed love to be—safe, steady, and faithful. 💖
